Create Major Federal Project Office to expedite approvals

The Liberal Party plans to create a new office to make getting approvals for big infrastructure, energy, and resource projects faster and easier. This is intended to help build projects like pipelines, transmission lines, and rail faster to boost the economy and make Canada an 'energy superpower'.

They aim to cut the time for federal reviews from about 5 years down to 2 years by using a single process that avoids repeating provincial reviews, while still keeping environmental and Indigenous rights standards.
