The NDP plans to enact their Better Transit Plan, which invests $1.3 billion/year to support jobs in construction, manufacturing and transit over the next 20 years.

Alongside this plan, the NDP have committed to transferring an additional cent of federal gas-tax funds to municipal transit infrastructure, which amounts to $1.5 billion/year.
