The Liberal party intends to lower the marginal tax rate for individuals earning between $44,701–$89,401 by 7%, from 22% to 20.5%. For incomes within this bracket, individuals would be able to save around $670/year.

For individuals earning over $200,000/year, a new top tax bracket will be introduced at 33%. This is expected to raise nearly $3 billion in revenue for the federal government.
